JERUSALEM, Sunday, June 2, 2024 (WAFA) – Extremist Israeli colonists, backed by Israeli police, attacked tonight Palestinian football players and coaches at a football stadium in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of At-Tur, said local sources.
Sources reported that colonists attacked soccer players and coaches after storming the stadium under the protection of police. The police detained several minor players during the raid.
The raid and attack on the stadium were followed by a large-scale deployment of Israeli troops in the said town.
