RAMALLAH, Thursday, May 30, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was shot dead and five others were injured this evening during an incursion by Israeli occupation forces into the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.

The Ministry of Health said in a brief statement that one Palestinian was shot dead and five individuals were struck by live ammunition fired by the Israeli forces during the incursion.

All of the casualties were transported to the Palestine Medical Complex in the city for medical attention.

It said Wajeeh Ramahi, a 20-year-old Palestinian young man, sustained a critical injury to the head during the Israeli attack, and was announced dead of his wounds a few minutes later.

Among the other persons injured, one was shot in the abdomen, and is in a moderate to serious condition, while two others were hit in their lower limbs.

Meantime, Israeli forces arrested a young man during ensuing confrontations with local Palestinian residents in the city.
