Several civilians, including two paramedics, killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza and Rafah

GAZA, Wednesday, May 29, 2024 (WAFA - Several civilians, including two paramedics, were killed and others were injured tonight in Israeli airstrikes on the cities of Gaza and Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that rescue teams and local citizens retrieved several casualties from the rubble of a house belonging to the Al-Hatu family near Al-Zahraa School in eastern Gaza City, which had been targeted by Israeli warplanes earlier in the evening.

Meanwhile, three more individuals were killed when a house in the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood, west of Rafah, was struck by an Israeli airstrike.

Simultaneously, two paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society were killed when an ambulance, which was en route to evacuate casualties from the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah, was targeted by an Israeli airstrike.

Medical sources confirmed that a total of 21 people have been killed since the early hours of the morning due to the ongoing Israeli bombardment of Rafah alone.
