RAFAH, Wednesday, May 29, 2024 (WAFA) – At least five civilians were injured tonight following an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle in the western area of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

Local sources reported that an Israeli fighter jet targeted a civilian vehicle near Al-Alam Roundabout in Rafah, resulting in several casualties. The extent of the injuries and the identities of the victims have not yet been determined.

In addition to the airstrike on the vehicle, Israeli helicopters opened fire in the eastern part of the city. Concurrently, a series of airstrikes were conducted on the neighborhood of Al-Zaytoun in eastern Gaza City.
