NABLUS, Monday, May 27, 2024 (WAFA) – Extremist Israeli colonists, backed by army forces, stormed this evening the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, attacking homes and setting fire to agricultural lands and an animal shed, according to local sources.
Sources said that several colonists, from the illegal Israeli colony of Homesh, attacked the homes of residents in the eastern part of the said village and set ablaze agricultural lands and a shed used for raising sheep.
According to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), a resident was badly bruised after falling from a height during confrontations that broke out following the army’s and colonists’ raid into the village.
