GAZA, Sunday, May 26, 2024 (WAFA) — Thirteen Palestinian civilians were killed and dozens were injured today in a bombing by Israeli occupation warplanes that targeted a house in Jabalia al-Nazla, north of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that the Israeli occupation warplanes bombed the home of the Khalla family in the town of Jabalia al-Nazla, killing at least 13 people, including children and women, and wounding dozens more.
They added that rescue and civil defense crews continue to search for survivors or slain civilians under the rubble after Israeli occupation missiles flattened the house.
Medical sources confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7, 2023, has risen to 35,984, the majority of whom are women and children. In addition, 80,643 people were wounded.
Thousands remain missing as ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave due to the continued Israeli occupation's obstruction of the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.
