GAZA, Saturday, May 25, 2024 (WAFA) — This evening, the Palestinian Telecommunications Company (Paltel Group) announced the disruption of fixed internet services in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip.

In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the company said, "We regret to announce the disruption of fixed internet services in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip due to the ongoing aggression. Our teams are working tirelessly to restore services as quickly as possible."

Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, telecommunication and internet services have been disrupted multiple times in the Strip due to intense Israeli bombardment or shortages of fuel, used to operate power generators.
