RAFAH, Saturday, May 25, 2024 (WAFA) — Two Palestinian civilians were killed and others injured this evening in an Israeli airstrike on the city of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the area of Al-Najma roundabout in the Shaboura refugee camp in central Rafah, resulting in the killing of two civilians and the injury of several others.

Earlier today, local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7 had risen to 35,903 reported fatalities, with an additional 80,420 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.
