Palestinian man injured in an attack by Israeli colonists near Hebron

HEBRON, Saturday, May 25, 2024 (WAFA) — A Palestinian man today was injured and two others were detained following an attack by Israeli colonists and an Israeli incursion into the towns of Bani Naim and Dura, located east and south of the city of Hebron, respectively.

Sources said a group of Israeli colonists attacked the employees of Bani Naim municipality while they were working on extending water lines in the Al-Qasr area in the Bani Naim wilderness, causing the deputy mayor, Nader Hamidat, bruises across his body.

Following his injury, Hamidat was later rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

In a related context, the occupation forces detained two local residents after breaking into their homes in the town of Dura, south of Hebron.
