Israeli occupation orders halt on construction of houses, infrastructure south of Nablus

NABLUS, Wednesday, May 22, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening ordered a halt on the construction of Palestinian houses and infrastructure in the village of Duma, south of the West Bank city of Nablus, according to a municipal source.

Suleiman Dawabsha, head of the Duma Village Council, told WAFA that the occupation forces barged their way into the town, and handed several villagers notices, ordering them to stop the construction of their houses and agricultural sheds as well as to remove recently constructed or installed infrastructure, including roads, electricity poles and telephone lines.

He added that the soldiers took photos of some houses whose owners were previously served demolition notices.
