RAMALLAH, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 (WAFA) – A truck driver carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip was severely injured tonight after being beaten up by Israeli colonists as he passed through the northern entrance to al-Bireh city in the central West Bank, according to security sources.

Sources told WAFA that a group of extremist colonists attacked the truck driver, a resident of Hebron, as he was crossing the Beit El (DCO) checkpoint, causing him injuries throughout his body, which necessitated his transfer to hospital.

Sources said that the colonists intercepted the truck, set the cab of the truck on fire and destroyed and threw some of the contents from the truck onto the road.
