NABLUS, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian resident was injured by live bullets his evening during an attack carried out by Israeli colonists against the town of Qusra, south of the West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.
Sources told WAFA that several colonists from the "Esh Kodesh" colonial outpost south of Nablus, under the protection of occupation soldiers, attacked the house of slain Palestinian, Mahmoud Odeh, in the town of Qusra. Odeh was shot dead at the hands of an Israeli colonist in December 2017.
The sources added that the occupation soldiers broke into the village amid the firing of live bullets, shooting and wounding a citizen in the thigh. The injured man was transported to hospital by the Palestine Red Crescent Society ambulance crews.
Meanwhile, colonists burned a vehicle and attacked a house located between the towns of Sebastia and Burqa, northwest of Nablus.
Head of the Joint Services Council for the Villages of West Nablus, Mohammed Azem, said that colonists attacked a house on the outskirts of the town of Burqa and set fire to a vehicle.
He added that the colonists, protected by the occupation army, burned the contents of an agricultural room near the western entrance of the archaeological area in the town of Sebastia.
