JERICHO, Monday, May 6, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces fired at a child, injuring him, and subsequently arrested him this evening in the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, located in the city of Jericho in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Adeeb Barahmeh, director of the Palestinian Prisoners Society in Jericho, told WAFA that Israeli forces fired at 8-year-old Joud Ashraf Hamidat near the southern cemetery in the Aqabat Jabr camp and arrested him without knowing his health condition.
The health condition of the child, who sustained injuries as a result of the attack, and his whereabouts remain unknown so far.
