Israeli forces turn Palestinian-owned house into military observation point near Jenin

JENIN, Monday, May 6, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today raided the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin, broke into a Palestinian-owned house and turned it into a military observation point.

The head of the Jalboun Village Council, Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub, said that the occupation forces stormed the said village, where they lunched a large-scale home raids and searches.

The forces further deployed dozens of military vehicles and patrolled their troops in the streets and neighborhoods of the village, during which the gun-toting soldiers fired heavy gun fire and tear gas bombs towards civilian s’ homes.

Abu Al-Rub pointed out that the occupation forces stormed the two-story house and turned it into a military observation point.

The occupation forces had withdrawn from the house of local resident Rafi’ Rafiq Abu Al-Rub, located next to the basic girls’ school in the center of the village after sieging  it for 16 days.
