QALQILYA, Monday, April 29, 2024 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians today were injured by occupation forces’ bullets east of the city of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank.
The Red Crescent Society said that a 55-year-old man was struck in the back with bullet shrapnel fired by Israeli occupation forces and was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Another 15-year-old Palestinian boy was injured by live ammunition in the foot after being directly hit by occupation forces. He was also transferred to hospital.
Local sources said that confrontations broke out between local residents and the occupation forces at the main entrance to the town, during which the forces fired live bullets and tear gas bombs, injuring two people.
The occupation army has closed the main entrance to the town of Azzun since October 7, and is carrying out continuous incursions and raids against the town.
