RAMALLAH, Monday, April 29, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained a minimum of 12 Palestinians, including former prisoners, last night and this morning during multiple raids into Palestinian towns and villages in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources and witnesses.
They said that the occupation forces rounded up at least 12 Palestinians, including several minors and former prisoners, in multiple raids, mainly in the districts of, Hebron, Tulkarm, Jenin and Jericho.
The joint statement added that Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out wide-ranging raid operations and harassment during the arrests, accompanied by brutal beatings, threats against detainees and their families, as well as extensive acts of sabotage and destruction in the homes of civilians.
The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
