SALFIT, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists uprooted today about 70 olive, grape, and almond trees in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, in the northern West Bank province of Salfit, according to local sources.
Owner of the trees, Hisham Rayan, told WAFA that a group of colonists uprooted olive, grape, and almond trees from his land located in the Khallet Abu Zeid area, west of the town.
He added that the colonists stole the trees, and took down the barbed wire surrounding the land.
Acts of vandalism by Israeli colonist militias have become a common feature of the daily life in the occupied West Bank under the long-running Israeli apartheid regime.
