RAMALLAH, Monday, April 22, 2024 (WAFA) - The Israeli occupation forces Sunday and Monday detained 25 Palestinians, including former detainees, from various parts of the West Bank, according to the Prisoners’ Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society.
They said that the occupation forces rounded up 25 people in multiple raids across the West Bank. They added that the detention raids were concentrated Nablus and Jenin cities, while the rest of the detentions took place in Bethlehem, Hebron, Tubas, Qalqilya, and Jerusalem.
According to the Prisoners’ Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society, the occupation forces have detained some 8,425 Palestinians since October 7, 2023. Such prisoners were detained from their houses, at checkpoints, were forced to turn themselves in or were held as hostages.
These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
