Two Palestinians killed in an Israeli airstrike in Khan Yunis

KHAN YUNIS, Saturday, April 20, 2024 (WAFA) – Two civilians were killed and several others were injured this evening as Israeli warplanes bombed the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported the killing of two young individuals and the injury of 10 others as a result of Israeli airstrikes targeting a house adjacent to an encampment housing displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area, located west of Khan Yunis.

Simultaneously, Israeli warships targeted the northwestern areas of Khan Yunis city.

Additionally, Israeli artillery shelled agricultural farmlands near the entrance of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has resulted in 34,049 documented Palestinian fatalities so far, with the majority being children and women. In addition, 76,901 injuries have been documented since the start of the onslaught, with thousands still trapped under the rubble.
