NABLUS, Tuesday, March 19, 2024 ((WAFA) - Medical sources this evening announced the killing of a Palestinian resident from the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus, at the hands of an Israeli colonist.
Sources said that resident Fakher Bani Jaber, 40, was shot in the chest by an Israeli colonist and taken to Rafidia Surgical Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Local sources in the town of Aqraba reported that Palestinian residents fended off an attack carried out by Israeli colonists, under the protection of the occupation army, against the eastern part of the said village; leading to confrontations.
The mayor of Aqraba, Salah Jaber, said that resident Fakhri Abu Jaber was shot at the hands of a colonist while he was standing in front of his house during the colonists’ attack. He was pronounced dead shortly after.
Following the shooting operation at the Gush Etzion junction, the occupation forces closed the southern entrance of the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, which leads to the bypass road 60 and connects the town with Hebron.
