PARIS, Wednesday, February 7, 2024 (WAFA) - The colors of the Palestinian flag have been painted on the steps of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, which has a prominent religious and tourist status in the French capital, Paris, in a move to show solidarity with Palestine in the face of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestinian people.
The phrase "Free Palestine" was also written on its walls.
The Cours Julien stairs, one of the tourist attractions in the city of Marseille in southern France, were painted with the colors of the Palestinian flag on January 18 by an association established to support Palestine.
