BETHLEHEM, Thursday, January 4, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested a young boy this evening while he was tending to his sheep, subsequently confiscating 60 sheep from him east of Bethlehem in the south of the occupied West Bank
Hassan Brijieh, the director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority in Bethlehem, told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces arrested Mahmoud Ebayyat, aged 16, as he was grazing his sheep in the area of Ain Ghurab, east of Bethlehem.
Brijieh added that not only the soldiers arrested the boy, but also confiscated 60 sheep that he was grazing in the area.
He pointed out that these increasing assaults reflect the brutality of the occupation towards our people wherever they are, as the Israeli occupation attempts to impose its fait accompli on the local Palestinian population amid these challenging times.
