RAMALLAH, Friday, November 3, 2023 (WAFA) — A young man was shot dead today by Israeli occupation forces today in the village of Budrus, to the west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.
The Ministry of Health reported in a press statement that 33-year-old Yousef Shaheen was killed by Israeli live ammunition in the village.
Local sources pointed out that Israeli occupation forces shot Shaheen while he was leaving the mosque after performing Friday prayers. He was struck with a live shot to the chest, and was subsequently rushed to an emergency center in the neighboring village of Ni'lin, where his condition was described as critical. Shaheen died of his wounds a few minutes later.
During their raid of Budrus, Israeli occupation forces deployed in the center of the village, disrupting the movement of civilian vehicles.
With the killing of Shaheen, the death toll in the West Bank since last night has risen to 10. His murder also brings up the death toll in the West Bank since October 7 to 144.
