GAZA, Monday, October 23, 2023 (WAFA) - Dozens of people were killed today and many others were injured as a result of the Israeli airstrikes on residential neighborhoods in Gaza City.
WAFA correspondent said the occupation warplanes attacked homes in Sheikh Radwan, Sabra, Tal al-Hawa, and the tunnel neighborhoods, which led to the killing and wounded of dozens, including children and women. A number of people are still under the rubble, and paramedics, rescuers, and citizens are trying to extract them.
The occupation warplanes also bombed two mosques near al-Zaytoun and in Sheikh Radwan neighborhoods.
Reports said the occupation forces committed 23 massacres in the past 24 hours, claiming the lives of 436 people, including 182 children.
Medical sources said the number of people killed in the Gaza Strip rose to 5,087, including 2,055 children, 1,119 women, and 217 elderly people, and 15,273 wounded since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7.
The Israeli occupation planes, boats, battleships, and artillery continue to bomb homes and buildings throughout the Gaza Strip for the 17th day in a row, causing civilian casualties and massive destruction to homes, public property, and infrastructure.
