BETHLEHEM, Sunday, October 22, 2023 (WAFA) – Colonial Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, assaulted a group of Palestinian civilians today in the village of Kisan, in the occupied West Bank province of Bethlehem, according to local sources.
Hasan Breijieh, a local Palestinian activist, reported that a group of Israeli settlers physically attacked the village’s mayor, Musa Ebayat, and other villagers while they were in the fields in the wilderness of the village. The attack left several individuals with injuries, including bruises.
Breijieh pointed out to the escalating violations and assaults carried out by Israeli terror settler groups, supported by the Israeli military, against the local Palestinian population in the region.
Attacks and acts of vandalism by Israeli settler militias have been on the rise across the occupied Palestinian territories with the rise of hard-right fascism to power in Israel.
