HEBRON, Sunday, October 22, 2023 (WAFA) – Colonial Israeli settlers uprooted 30 olive and grape trees, damaged water tanks, severed solar power connections, and vandalized other equipment today near the village of Shu'ab al-Batm in Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Colonial Israeli settlers reportedly stormed a Bedouin community near Shu'ab al-Batm village and assaulted the property of local residents. Additionally, they contaminated water wells belonging to a local Palestinian citizen, Mohammed Jabareen.
In the meantime, colonial settler groups threatened residents of the nearby hamlet of Maghayir Al-Abid with eviction and murder, after raiding residential caves and houses and terrorizing children in the hamlet.
Furthermore, the settlers destroyed several olive trees owned by a local resident in the Masafer Yatta region. The owner was identified as Farid Hamada.
