HEBRON, Thursday, October 19, 2023 (WAFA) – A Palestinian child was wounded by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire this evening during confrontations in Al-Arroub refugee camp, located north of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent reported that the confrontations broke out at the camp's entrance, where Israeli occupation forces, including snipers positioned on the rooftops of houses, indiscriminately fired live ammunition and toxic tear gas canisters towards the residents.
This indiscriminate shooting resulted in a 10-year-old child suffering an injury from explosive live ammunition in the upper part of his thigh. The injured child received immediate medical attention at a camp medical center before being transferred to the hospital for further treatment.
