HEBRON, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 (WAFA) – A Palestinian teen was Tuesday dawn killed after being shot by Israeli occupation forces, in the town of Halhul, north of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
Medical sources at al-Mezan Hospital in Hebron announced Mohammad Nidal Melhem, 17, died after he was shot by live bullets in his stomach during the confrontations that broke out after the occupation forces stormed the town of Halhul.
The occupation forces stormed the industrial school in Halhul, where a number of workers from the Gaza Strip resided, who were forced by the occupation to leave their workplaces in the 1948 territories, leading to confrontations during which three citizens were injured by live bullets, one of whom was Melhem, who was later pronounced dead, while the other two were injured in the lower extremities.
The occupation soldiers also detained 30 workers inside the school after subjecting them to a field investigation, causing material damage to the school and its contents.
With the killing of Melhem, the number of slain Palestinians in the West Bank rises to 60 since October 7th.
