Two Palestinians, including man aged 60, suffocate by Israeli colonists’ pepper spray

NABLUS, Sunday, October 15, 2023 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians suffocated today after being pepper-sprayed directly in the face by Israeli colonists at the Awarta military checkpoint, south of Nablus, said medical sources.

Paramedics at the scene provided medical aid for two people, aged 28 and 60, after being pepper-sprayed by Israeli colonists.

Local sources said a group of armed colonists, backed by military soldiers, were seen gathering at the checkpoint. Concern was expressed over the gathering of colonists ahead of the funeral procession of slain Palestinian Karam Ayman, 17, who was shot and killed by Israeli forces fire in confrontations in the town of Beita earlier today.
