HEBRON, Friday, October 13, 2023 (WAFA) – Colonial Israeli settlers carried out a destructive raid today targeting Palestinian civilians and their belongings in Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, where they demolished two agricultural rooms, tore down a wall, and uprooted fruitful trees, according to local reports.
The Coordinator of Popular and National Committees Against the Wall and Settlements in the southern Hebron region, Rateb Al-Jubour, said that colonial settlers from the Susya settlement were responsible for the demolition. The targeted agricultural rooms and the fruitful trees uprooted by the settlers belonged to wo Palestinian citizens from the Al-Nawaj'ah clan.
Al-Jubour further noted that the armed settlers also threatened the local residents and assaulted their properties.
In a separate incident on the same day, Israeli settlers attacked olive harvesters in the village of Tell, west of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, local sources said.
A group of settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation military, assaulted farmers while they were harvesting olives in near the village.
Such acts of aggression and violence by colonial Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank continue to exacerbate tensions and threaten the livelihoods of Palestinian farmers.
