RAMALLAH, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 (WAFA) - The Ministry of Health said in its latest update that the death toll since Saturday’s Israeli occupation’s barbaric aggression against the Gaza Strip and soldiers shooting Palestinians in the West Bank has risen to 788 dead and about 4,100 wounded.
It said 770 people were killed in the all-out aggression on the Gaza Strip and more than 4,000 were wounded, most of them children and women, while the number is expected to rise with the ongoing intense bombardment throughout the besieged sea enclave.
In the West Bank, 18 people were killed by Israeli army gunfire, including three minors, while about 100 others were injured.
The 18 killed in the West Bank included seven in the Hebron governorate, four in the Jerusalem governorate, including two minors, two in the Ramallah governorate, two in the Nablus governorate, two in the Jericho governorate, and one, a minor, in the Qalqilya governorate, said the Health Ministry.
