TULKAREM, Friday, August 4, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers seeking to build a settlement outpost re-erected a tent on Palestinian-owned land located between the town of Kafr al-labad, Khirbet al-Hafasi, and the suburb of Thanabah to the east of Tulkarem, said local sources.
Sources told WAFA a group of settlers from the illegal settlement of Avnei Hefetz re-erected a tent in the same place where residents of the town and members of the Wall Resistance and Settlement Commission were able yesterday, Thursday, to remove and burn a similar tent that was erected there almost 20 days ago.
The settlers and the occupation army also stormed a nearby park frequented by the people of Kafr al-Labad and the neighboring villages and forced picnickers out at gunpoint.
