RAMALLAH, Sunday, July 23, 2023 (WAFA) – Extremist Israeli settlers last night set a Palestinian-owned vehicle on fire and sprayed racist graffiti on walls in the village of Al-Mughayir, to the northeast of Ramallah, according to a local activist.
Naeem Abu Marzouk, a member of Al-Mughayir Municipality, told WAFA that a group of Israeli settlers sneaked into the village, where they set a parked vehicle on fire and sprayed racist graffiti on walls.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers detained a Palestinian ex-prisoner after raiding and ransacking his house in the village, he added.
Violence by Israeli settlers is commonplace across the occupied West Bank, and is supported and endorsed by the hard-right Israeli government.
