RAMALLAH, Thursday, July 6, 2023 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic dailies published today highlighted the devastation caused by the Israeli occupation army following its incursion into Jenin refugee camp.

Al-Hayat al-Jadida daily described it as a “Hiroshima Jenin camp.”

Al-Ayyam daily said: “As if hit by a devastating earthquake,” and the third daily, al-Quds, said, “The occupation destroyed 90% of the infrastructure and 120 homes.”

The three dailies, which printed pictures of the devastation, reported on the funeral of the 12 killed by the Israeli army during the two-day incursion.

Al-Hayat al-Jadida also quoted UN experts saying the aggression against Jenin camp may constitute a war crime.

It said Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh said Britain should condemn the aggression against Jenin refugee camp.

In other news, al-Ayyam said settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles north of Ramallah and soldiers attacked Palestinians in Beita causing suffocation cases.

It said orders were issued to stop work in structures in Masafer Yatta and settlers set fire to dozens of trees in Burin.

Al-Quds said Israeli warplanes attacked locations in the Gaza Strip.
