JENIN, Wednesday, May 31, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Wednesday attacked a number of Palestinian-owned vehicles, closed a road connecting towns as Israeli forces broke into villages, south of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
Security sources told WAFA that a group of settlers, and under protection from the Israeli forces, stoned Palestinian-owned vehicles near the village of Ya’bad, south of Jenin, and closed the main road connecting Jenin, Tulkarm and Ya’bad, as they proceeded to smash the windshield of cars and cause damages to people’s properties.
No casualties were reported, however.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued to obstacle people’s movements by inspecting their vehicles and their ID cards at the Dotan checkpoint, which they closed yesterday and earlier today.
Additionally, Israeli forces raided several villages nearby Jenin, and carried out a wide-scale inspection campaign in the area.
