HEBRON, Wednesday, May 17, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Wednesday seized a Palestinian-owned water well, damaged olive saplings and crops in the area of Masafer Yatta, south of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
Local sources told WAFA that a group of fanatic settlers, with the protection of the Israeli occupation army, seized a water well in the Maghayer al-Abeed area of Masafer Yatta, and prevented citizens from accessing it and irrigating their sheep, and damaged 120 olive seedlings, and about 50 dunums of agricultural crops, owned by several citizens.
In the Fateh Sidrou area, near the al-Zuwaidin community, north of al-Masafer, the settlers let their sheep into the citizens' lands, destroying 50 dunums of wheat and barley crops, owned by local resident Farid al-Hamamda.
In a related context, the occupation forces raided Sha'ab Al-Batem Elementary School, removed the Palestinian flags from the school, and seized it.
