RAMALLAH, Saturday, May 13, 2023 (WAFA)- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today called for a firm international stand to force the Israeli occupation to stop its aggression against the Gaza Strip and to reopen the crossings to allow entry of medical and food supplies, fuel, and other life essentials.
The Ministry considered in a statement the Israeli government’s refusal to allow entry of assistance and medical and food supplies into the besieged Gaza Strip a blatant violation of international law, the Geneva Convention, and international humanitarian law.
It condemned the racist campaigns and calls by fascist Israeli government ministers, such as Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, who call for committing more murders and the reoccupation of the Gaza Strip, considering them as part of an expansionist settler mentality locked on the idea of annexation and expansionism at the expense of the land of the State of Palestine.
The Ministry expressed astonishment at the silence of the international community toward these calls and warned of the danger of using them to escalate and expand the aggression and commit more crimes.
