Israeli settlers attack Palestinian vehicles in Nablus and Bethlehem, set fire to greenhouses in Nablus

NABLUS, Friday, April 7, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers today noon carried out several attacks against Palestinians and their properties in the Nablus and Bethlehem governorates, in the northern and southern occupied West Bank, respectively, according to a local official. 

Settlers set fire to greenhouses and attacked Palestinian vehicles travelling across several areas in the vicinity of Nablus governorate.

Ghassan Daghlas, an official in charge of the settlements file in the north of the occupied territories, told WAFA that settlers gathered at several roads in the vicinity of Nablus, including Huwwara and the towns and villages of Furush Beit Dajan, al-Sawiya, and Deir Sharaf, where they carried out provocative acts and attacked Palestinians vehicles.

No injuries were reported in the attacks.

Settlers also set fire to greenhouses in the village of Furush Beit Dajan to the east of Nablus. The activist said that a group of settlers attacked the village and set fire to greenhouses belonging to two local residents.

Settlers further set fire to metal cables owned by a local resident, which he uses for wire-fencing.

In the meantime in Bethlehem, settlers sealed off the southern entrance to the town of al-Khader. They reportedly gathered at al-Nashash area,  closed the road, and proceeded to attack Palestinian-registered vehicles, however, no injuries were reported.
