BETHLEHEM, Tuesday, March 28, 2023 (WAFA) –Israeli settlers today chopped 14 olive trees in the village of Husan, to the west of Bethlehem in the south of the occupied West Bank, according to a local official.
Head of Husan Village Council, Mohammad Sabatin, told WAFA that a group of Israeli settlers from the illegal colonial outpost of Bitar Ellit cut down 14 olive trees belonging to a local Palestinian family.
Settlers, 10 days ago, chopped nearly 50 olive trees in the same village owned by the same family. They also demolished stone chain walls and cut down barbed wires.
Israeli settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli occupation authorities.
