JERUSALEM, Wednesday, February 22, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers today vandalized Palestinian-owned vehicles and wrote hate graffiti in the town of Beit Iksa, northwest of occupied East Jerusalem, according to the town’s mayor, Murad Zayed.
He told WAFA that settlers sneaked into the town in the early morning hours, slashed the tires of four vehicles and painted hate slogans on the walls calling for kicking the residents out of the town.
Zayed said this is not the first time settlers attack the town and paint hate slogans on its walls, explaining that the town is locked by a permanent army checkpoint that controls the movement of people in and out of the town where 2500 people live and surrounded by settlements from all sides.
