TULKARM, Monday, November 21, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Monday evening vandalized several vehicles and torched olive trees in Ramin village, east of Tulkarm, according to local sources.
Some villagers said that they were shocked to find out that a group of settlers had sneaked their way into the northern outskirts of the village, and punctured the tires of at least four vehicles and set fire to olive trees in the area.
The vandals also spray-painted hate graffiti in Hebrew on the external wall of two houses.
Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
There are over 700,000 Israeli settlers living in colonial settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
