HEBRON, Thursday, November 17, 2022 (WAFA) – Hardcore Israeli settlers went on a rampage today at the entrance to the village of al-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta, to the south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, terrorizing Palestinians and barring them from entering or leaving the village, according to local sources.
Rateb Jabour, a local Palestinian activist, told WAFA that scores of Israeli settlers guarded by the army terrorized Palestinians at the entrance to the village and shouted racist slogans calling for the expulsion of the Palestinian people.
The settlers also blocked the road as they went on their rampage, denying the movement of Palestinians into and out of the village.
This was the latest in an ongoing wave of army-backed terror attacks by Israeli settlers across the north, center, and south of the occupied West Bank, which have resulted so far in the injury of many Palestinians and damage to their belongings, including vehicles.
Earlier today, Khuloud Assaf, WAFA’s editor-in-chief, had her car attacked along with other Palestinian-owned cars by Israeli settlers in the town of Huwwara, to the south of Nablus in the northern West Bank. The attack resulted in injuries among some passengers and damage to vehicles.
