WAFA Editor among others attacked and injured by Israeli settlers south of Nablus
WAFA editor-in-chief Khuloud Assaf.

NABLUS, Thursday, November 17, 2022 (WAFA)- Editor-in-chief of WAFA news agency, Khuloud Assaf’s car was attacked along with other Palestinian-owned cars by Israeli settlers south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus causing injury among them.

Assaf said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar attacked her car and other cars driving on the road near Huwwara injuring her son who was in the car with her, along with other people whose cars were also attacked and their car windows smashed.

Settlers have been attacking almost daily Palestinian commuters and homes throughout the occupied West Bank, but mainly in the north, without the Israeli army doing anything to stop them, rather the army provides them with cover and protection. If it was Palestinians throwing stones at settler cars, they would have been shot on the spot.
