Israeli settlers close the main street in Huwwara, attack Palestinians

 

 

NABLUS, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers tonight closed the main Huwwara street to the south of Nablus and attacked Palestinian commuters.

The spokesperson of the Fatah faction in Huwwara town, Awwad Najem said that a group of settlers gathered along the main street in the town, rampaging in the area and attacking Palestinian vehicles.

A Palestinian man sustained bruises and cuts after being attacked by settlers in the town of Huwwara. Settlers also broke into a supermarket in the area and attacked the owner with pepper spray.

In the meantime, settlers tonight set fire to a barracks used for poultry as well as to a poultry transport truck belonging to a Palestinian resident in the town of Qasra to the south of Nablus.

Settlers attacked the southern part of the said town and set fire to a barracks and a cargo truck owned by a local resident in the town of Qasra. Residents attempted to fend off the settlers’ attack, leading to clashes.

The Israeli settlers also set fire to electricity poles in the area.
