Settlers uproot olive saplings, destroy crops in a town in the south of the West Bank

BETHLEHEM, Tuesday, August 9, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers today uprooted olive saplings and destroyed crops in the town of al-Khader, south of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to the mayor of al-Khader Ibrahim Mousa.

He told WAFA that settlers uprooted 150 olive saplings and destroyed crops in a 13-dunum plot of land located near the illegal settlement of Navi Danial.

Also in the south of Bethlehem, settlers from the illegal Efrat settlement, set up a mobile home on privately-owned Palestinian land near Wad Rahhal village, according to Hasan Ibreijieh, a local activist.

He said Israel claims the land is state-owned, which is a pretext they use to take over Palestinian land.
