Newspapers Review: Dailies highlight Israeli settlement plans in the occupied territories

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, July 19, 2022 (WAFA) - The three Palestinian Arabic dailies published today - al-Quds, al-Hayat al-Jadida, and al-Ayyam - highlighted the news of the Israeli occupation authorities’ approval of five plans to build 3,090 settlement units in the West Bank, and the delivery of demolition and stop work orders in Masafer Yatta, Tubas and the Jordan Valley.

The three newspapers also highlighted the arrival of President Mahmoud Abbas in Bucharest to meet his Romanian counterpart and the prime minister, and his reception of Arab ambassadors accredited to Romania. The President will be heading to France today.

The papers also highlighted yesterday’s cabinet meeting and decisions.

Al-Quds:

  • Approval of five plans to build 3,090 settlement units in the West Bank

Al-Hayat al-Jadida:
