JERUSALEM, Saturday, May 21, 2022 (WAFA) – A Palestinian young man was wounded on Saturday evening after he was shot by an armed Israeli settler in the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah, according to witnesses.
The settler, said to be armed with a rifle, opened gunfire at the Palestinian young man and injured him in the abdomen, as Palestinians in the neighborhood tried to thwart an attack by a group of extremist settlers on the neighborhood.
The severity of young man’s condition has not yet been determined.
