Israeli occupation army shut down Nablus-Jenin road to Palestinian traffic

JENIN, Friday, December 31, 2021 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces shut down today a major section of the Nablus-Jenin road in the north of the occupied West, denying access of Palestinian traffic to the road, according to Palestinian security sources.

WAFA was told that the closure of the road was a preemptive measure by the Israeli occupation army to secure a march by Israeli settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Shavei Shomron, about 8 kilometers to the west of Nablus, to the evacuated Israeli settlement outpost of Homesh, near the town of Burqa.

Last night, scores of rampaging Israeli settlers from Shavei Shomron and other settlements pelted stones at Palestinian vehicles driving at thr road.
