RAMALLAH,
Thursday, July 29, 2021 (WAFA) – The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for
Palestine with its base year reached 98.50 in June 2021, as it increased by
0.60% compared to May 2021, according to a report by Palestinian Central Bureau
of Statistics (PCBS).
Producer
Price Index for locally consumed products (2019 = 100) reached 97.97 in June
2021, which indicates an increase of 0.64% compared to May 2021.
Producer
Price Index for local exported products (2019 = 100) reached 103.46 in June
2021, which indicates an increase of 0.19% compared to May 2021.
The
changes of PPI for June 2021 were traced back to changes in prices of the
following major activities compared to the previous month:
