JERUSALEM, Monday, July 19, 2021 (WAFA) – The British Consulate General in Jerusalem expressed in a tweet concern over Israeli police violence against Muslim worshipers at al-Aqsa mosque yesterday.
"Concerned to once again see violence in the #HaramalSharif as we approach Eid al Adha. We urge full respect for the Status Quo."
The British Consulate-General urged all sides to work to calm tensions.
